QuickBooks Online
Prune integrates with QuickBooks Online to sync with your accounting data through API access. Our API is a secure connection that doesn’t share password data and can be revoked at any time via QuickBooks.
Once synced, your financial data will be categorized in a familiar manner.
Data Flow
Prune syncs with your General Ledger on QuickBooks. Your chart of accounts and your transactions will be synced to Prune.
It’s a one-way sync from QuickBooks to Prune, Prune does not revert any changes back to QuickBooks.
Connect QuickBooks
To connect your QuickBooks account to Prune, follow these steps:
- Go to the Accounts page
- Click + Add Accounts
- Click Connect QuickBooks and follow the QuickBooks authentication process.
- Log in to QuickBooks
- Select the organization you want to connect to and click Allow Access.
- Your QuickBooks data will now be synced on Prune.
Data Sync
- Prune syncs with QuickBooks once a day automatically.
- You can also manually trigger a sync with QuickBooks. Click on the user icon on the bottom left. Click on Integrations > QuickBooks > Sync.
QuickBooks Classes
If you use Quickbooks classes, you are able to import them as Prune tags in order to run reports or filter by tags. Here are the steps to sync QuickBooks Classes:
- Click on the user icon on the bottom left.
- Click on Integrations > QuickBooks > Class Mappings.
- Click on Sync Classes to fetch classes from your QuickBooks Online account.
- Click Save Mappings to save.
Disconnect from QuickBooks
- You can disconnect your QuickBooks connection from your QuickBooks account.
- You can request Prune to disconnect your QuickBooks account by contacting Prune at [email protected].
